Collective Pain of Loss – Orlando

I don’t feel today’s heat,
nor do I hunger or thirst.
I feel nothing but pain.

My pain,
the pain of others,
another hive pain.

It’s the collective pain of loss.

Heaven called home many of its servants today.

Full of love and compassion,
unrelated to me.
Strangers in every way.

I ache with intense fury for the many broken hearts,
of the many set suns,
for their tears
and their anguish.

Bless their families and their friends,
Ease their grief,
As heaven welcomes Orlando’s angels.

RIP, we love you … always.

Listen to the palms…
